We are so excited to be teaming up with AK Fit Club & Wake Up Docklands for a day of Skip HIIT, Stand Up Paddleboarding, FlexiFITT stretching & good vibes! The day will be an opportunity to try something new, meet like minded individuals & have a whole lot of fun!

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Paddle boarding: We will teach you how to stand up on the board, establish a solid foundation in proper paddling technique and board control & understand the importance of weather conditions and how to feel safe on the water.
Skip HIIT: A fun & dynamic full body workout mixing skipping and resistance training.
FlexiFITT Stretch Workshop: We will take you through a challenge from the FlexiFITT - Splits Challenge App, stretching techniques and a stretch session.
All Levels of fitness are welcome!
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
You must be 18+ years to attend.
I havnt done Stand Up Paddleboarding before, can I attend?
The day is aimed at beginners and will teach you the basics of stand up paddleboarding. We will spend the first 15 minutes on land, letting you practice basic paddling techniques while we demonstrate how they work. Then it’s time for you to get into the water and practice yourself. The session will take you on a tour along the thames with your certified instructor standing by to guide you and fine-tune your technique. We start by paddling on our knees, once we feel comfortable on the board, we teach you the best way to stand up.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We recommend travelling to us by public transport as there is not parking on site.
DLR to Royal Victoria Dock or Silvertown (5-10 minute walk)
Jubilee line to North Greenwich and Emirates cable car (5-10 minute walk)
Jubilee line to Canning town (15 minute walk)
What do I wear to event?
Paddle boarding: Layered clothing is best, shorts & t-shirts, long sleeves and long pants with wind pants and jacket. Wetsuits are NOT provided. You may get wet, so a change of clothes is recommended. Don't forget to bring a towel, flip flops and sunscreen!
Skip HIIT Class & FlexiFITT Workshop: Please wear your usual activewear (don't forget trainers).
There are shower and changing facilities.
